Question for those who have removed their a/c system...
Does anyone have the part number for the plastic shield which goes that attaches to the radiator? I know many have attested to seeing lower water temps after installing this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think he's talking about a plastic shield that would cover where the condenser fan is. Since you had factory a/c you won't have it.

Nice! I was considering purchasing one if it could be had for cheap. Otherwise, I was just going to fab something myself

Mine isn't covered either, which is why I'm going to cover it
I've heard from credible sources that say they've seen anywhere between 30 and 40 degree variance in temperature

I had to remove my AC condenser to fit my Koyo radiator, so no AC for me either. Does anyone have pics of this piece Jason is talking about?

If you are taking about a EG body that has had the a/c removed...

If you are taking about a DC2 body...
38623-P72-900 = "radiator side seals"
They will not help keep the car cool with the a/c removed.. only help the fans draw more air thru the condenser.

did you just splice the wire into the cooling fan from the a/c fan. that seems like reasonable idea. should be easy right?

You can always rewire the A/C fan to go on w/ the rad fan. That way, you have dual fan for the rad. That will sure cool the water temp down. That's what I did for mine after I removed the A/C.
I believe that "sheild" is for the Bseries with the small Half sized radiators, like in hatches.. Look into it on the parts sheets for 1993 civic hatch without AC, I would think....

they are sadly mistaken, tell your source to do more of their homework.
