Question regarding selling my car...
First off, I apologize for posting this in the topics session, but I'm not familiar with the site just yet and I figured someone would be kind enough to provide some advice...
I have a 2000 Phoenix Yellow ITR with a 98 JDM B18C motor swap (original C5 blew up). The motor has around 65-75k miles with intake, header, exhaust, clutch, flywheel, NGK plugs/wires, high flow cat, and a tuned ECU. The motor itself is in excellent mechanical condition. However, the transmission's third gear just went out. The car is still driveable, but only in 1,2,4,5 and reverse (what wonderful timing). The carbon fiber hood is faded and needs a new clearcoat, the struts in the front AND rear are going bad, and the car has no AC or power steering; the bearings in the power steering pump went out and the pivot pulley on the AC came loose (I have the compressor on hand and it's fine). The interior is in perfect condition, and the paint is an 8-9/10.
Having stated this information, I'm looking to find a true/somewhat accurate value of the vehicle in its current state. I'm also curious to know if fixing the transmission would allow me to profit more from the sale, or if I'd be wasting my time/losing money in the long run...
Once again, my apologies for posting about this topic in the forum, but KBB doesn't exactly allow you to list the vehicle's exact problems. ANY advice on value/ steps to be taken toward a sale/ considerations, etc. would be extremely helpful. I paid 11 for the car 16 months ago (when it's suggested value was 12,200), and as much as I've tried to maintain it, it's caused me quite a few problems (which obviously makes me SICK).
Thanks for anything yall have to offer.

Re: Question regarding selling my car... (itr590)
honestly your better off selling it with the bad 3rd gear, it would probably cost around 1,000 to fix it (or buy another and swap them out) depending on condition and miles i would say you could get around 10,500 ++ for it
