Default Question about NSX and Spoon calipers...

I have seen that many people have used the NSX brake setup on their ITR's. Some have said they use that setup because of the option of running thicker rotors as opposed to Spoon's where you can only used stock thickness.

The question I had is if NSX calipers fit a R, why couldn't one use NSX Spoon calipers and thick rotors on a ITR?

Because Spoon Never made parts for the NSX
(at least not in the last 5 years)

I'm sure one could try to fit the AP1/dc5/ep3 setup on an ITR.

The reason I thought that Spoon makes NSX capipers is because I saw them on one once in a picture. No it was not a photo-crop, but it was at a car show...

They are monoblock design and are universal meaning they would fit the AP1/DC5/EP3 but you would need to get the brackets for each app in order to fit them.

They are 0.2 kgs heavier than the DC2s though.

I have seen an add for SSR in an Options mag with a blue NSX with SPOON Calipers in the front and have ask about this before. This was also a long time ago, well before DC5 and EP's.
