no he was not street racing it at all....accually it was about 3 or 4 days before a dyno day here in pitt it happened....he was a member of honda-tech and his GF was injured quite bad....the police said he was going about 100-110 in a 35 zone and came over a hill with a slight bend(some people said he drove that way all the time I never met him so I couldn't tell you) most people think it was an animal or something in the road but the *** end went out and he was tring to control it his GF was thrown into the trunk area as the rear of it was striped for auto-X that is the only reason she lived from what I understand. the car hit a tree on the passenger side. from the people I talked to who knew him well said he had just signed onto a F2000 team and had been driving shifter carts since age 12(he was 19) so he definatly knew how to drive. if you would like search the archeves at honda tech about the accident, funeral, and donations. this should be a wake up call for all the people who think they are infalable.
