Default pointless question please read!

I was wondering, if I (in my ITR) raced an LS, and I never hit VTEC, who would win?

You would (given drivers are eqaul). I think you have a weight advantage.

Integra LS:
Horsepower: 140 hp @ 6300 rpm
Torque: 124 ft-lbs. @ 5200 rpm
Weight: 2643 lbs.

Given these stats, I don't think you'll win. Because, if you don't VTEC in your ITR, you're limited to 5,699rpm. Even though ITR has good gear ratio, that's just too small of a power band to play with. I mean, LS also has DOHC so, it's got just about the same oomph off the line (if not more) than you do.

BTW, are you bored again at home?!?! hehe.

Say he could use all the RPM range, just not engage VTEC.....he would win.

You really need to work on being so subtle. Just come out and tell us how you feel, really

Are you giving the LS owner some sort of handicap?

I'm not sure about LS vs. ITR, but I always imagined that the B18b offers more torque in the lower half of the RPM band whereas the B18c5 is more high-strung.

haha, D is being coy with Ross, how cute

You would win, because you could taste the win. It's all mental.
