Plug and Play O2 Simulator solution
I searched and all signs pointed to Black R from 2007 through about 2009. It looks like he had a plug and play solution for an o2 simulator. I PM'd him a couple days ago but not sure if he's still active on the board. Google/Bing searches haven't provided a viable solution. Spark plug fouler won't work because I do not have a secondary bung on my exhaust.
Anyone have one that Black R made for sale or a better solution that doesn't cost $99 bucks.
Thanks

I used this. Payed about $99 for it and it worked, for about two weeks, but long enough to get me through inspection. I couldn't figure out how to tweake the simulator, it was kind of a piece of ****. But I'm sure they're are better one out there that actually work and don't get hot like the one I had.
this way i used, i only had ut on for a couple of days, so dont know if it works that great or not.

I would just put a bung in. I had the simulator, I made it using the plans posted many years ago that i think black r uses. Mine worked for 1 or 2 years. I now use a spark plug defouler.
Problem with the Spark plug defouler is that it sometimes puts the O2 out too far and it'll hit the chassis. Just depends upon the cat/testpipe that you're working with.
Here are the plans that used to be floating around years ago. I re-labeled the wires because the plans were for a different car originally.

This is what it looks like when made. Worked great until I plowed through a snow/ice drift and broke it. It was under the car wrapped in plastic, ziptied to something... forget now.
Pay no attention to the wire colors, those are extension wires from running a long tube header.

Hello guys, by any chance do you know if this would work on a Honda Civic 2002 vtec? This trick shuts the CEL off for good? Does it work even if you remove the cat or install a non OEM cat? Thank you.
bought this one and worked fine. Not plug n play though. Have to do a bit of wiring, but it wasn't too bad

but mine was OBD2b so I had to translate the wires accordingly using
