Default Anyone know if I can adapt an Autometer EGT prode to an O2 bung??

I have two O2 bungs on my downpipe and was wondering if anyone had a way to use the second bung for my EGT probe? I really prefer to not drill into my manifold and Im aware that the EGTs will be slightly lower at the DP but Id rather drill into it if need be. Basically Id like to not drill and use the spare bung in my DP for it.

Any ideas?

A machine shop could make the piece for a few dollars if you drew it up I bet.

IMO I dont think its worth it unless its accurate -> in the manifold, pre turbo. I see most people just drill and tap a hole, no need for bungs.

go and get a plug that has the same thread pattern

get a drill and a bench vise

holding the plug, drill a hole in the middle... then tap it with a tap set

install the plug and then the probe in it...
