Default please help with trans problems

ok so iv taken my car to a couple differnt places, the first said it was a second gear syncro the second and third both said it was a shift fork and a couple people online said it was a shift fork also, i was wondering if i could pull my trans out of the car and take it to a shop that works on transmisions and have them diagnose the problem and give me a real answer on what exectly is wrong, or whould they need to drive the car first

reason i ask is because, first i cant stand paying someone to do something on my car when i can do it myself, that why im pulling the trans my self, second i dont trust shops with my car after i dropped it off at one about a year ago, and someone called me a asked me if i won, i was like wtf, he was like yeah i just saw you racing another integra down the street, i was soooo pissed cuz the ****** i dropped my car off to deicided to jow riding and racign my car, anway back to my question can it be done, and does anybody no of any good transmission shops in the baltimore area

for reference, when i shift into second it somtimes doesnt go in, it doesnt grind trying to go its just not in gear i gota puch the clutch back in and pull back again, that hardly ever happens, the main problem is when i go to downshift into second it either wont go in somtimes or usually it does but as soon as i let of the gas it pushes it out of gear back into neutral

Rebuild it yourself I have watched Will do it and he made it look too easy

Or have a acura dealer fix it, they won't (or less chance) mess around with your car.

first of all don't sell it. And yes actually I did something like that with my transmission. I forget the name of the shop around here but open up the yellow pages and call the transmission places. Tell them your dropping it yourself, because there is 1 of those shops that told me they would crack it open and tell you for FREE what was wrong.
