Default Piston Reliability

Alright, I have decided about getting higher compression pistons and increasing the compression on my ITR with a headgasket or something to that sort. I have heard a few bad stories regarding reliability (this is my daily driver and I also take two 1600 mile trips every year in the R) and don't want to be concerned about wearing out the cylinder sleeve.
Which pistons are you other guys running in your daily drivers and how do you like them? Also would it be beneficial to get overbored pistons for a daily driver (Is it worth the performance and sacrifice the protection). Thanks

i have JDM itr pistons for sale if you want em , takign reasonable offers.
id prolly roll with those or ctrs and stock head gasket, that should be good enough. any higher compression for daily driving could get hairy on pump gas,. . . i c ould be wrong , but thats my opinion on the safest bet
