I was thinking about stripping my ITR rims. Does any one have polished ITRs on a black itr.

there was a black itr with stripped itr/s2000 centercaps but don't recall his h-t name. i'm sure someone has a pic of that car. here is a set i did if you just want to see what the wheel would look like:

they don't look to different than OEM gunmetal finish ... probably not worth the trouble and elbow grease...

Since I happen to have two sets...

What's the best way of stripping them? Would you hit them with a cleaning chemical or just wire wheel the crap out of them?

I'm sure you can use aircraft stipper or any one of those typical paint remover chemicals found at your local paint / hardware store.

I would think that it should look the best on a black R.

However, does anyone have a picture on a yellow R? I know I could photo shop the pic but I would like to see the "real" thing if possible. I think polished may make a nice "summer wheel" and I'll keep my black set for the cold New England winters.
