Default Phillips HD beam pattern

Installed the new Phillips HID kit, and the right side doesn't shine out quite as far as the left. I was told this is so oncoming traffic is not blinded on RHD cars.

My question: is there anyway to adjust the beam angle, so that both sides shine equally as bright/far?

EDIT: just got word from a friend that it's not possible to adjust the projectors. If anyone knows something we don't fill me in.

BTW, I have the JDM front.

I remember from a thread a while ago that the right side beam is always higher because or the RHD roads. Basically, they were made to do the opposite of what you want

Nope, the left hand side shines farther. So, not as bad as you thought, but would be nice to even it out...

It is not possible. The light spread/pattern is the reverse of USDM vehicles. You'll just have to accept what you have or go back to stock.

Actualy, that isn't 100% correct.

If you want, you can disassemble the projector housing and swap the inner projector shields in the opposite direction. In effect, re-reversing the beam pattern.

Well, yeah, you could do that. But, you'd still have a beam pattern that was slightly biased towards the left as opposed to the right, like on USDM vehicles. It's a compromise. Or, you could go all out just get some USDM Audi/BMW(Bosch) projectors and accomplish something similar to the USDM Audi/BMW light pattern. You'd also get the purple/white color change in the later case.

I'm in the same boat. However, I just lowered the left side down a little... and the ride side I aimed as faaaaaaaaaaaar right as possible. Works pretty good!
