But I did go drifting in it. Does that count? LOL! Oh, excuse me, back then in the south I forgot they called it "fish-tailing". HEHE!

Some of my choices:
1970s Ford Pinto. Like many cars of its era, the RWD Pinto placed its gas tank behind the rear axle. But the Pinto's compact dimensions and flimsy build allowed the bumper bolts to penetrate the tank in relatively mild collisions, turning more than a few Pintos into greasy fireballs.
Chevy Corvair. The Corvair could have been a great car if GM management had let Ed Cole, the man behind the Chevy small block, design the car as he saw fit. But GM didn't want a cheap compact competing with its larger, more profitable cars. One of the cost-cutting decisions was to nix a front anti-sway bar. Combined with the swing axle rear suspension, this led to dangerous sudden oversteer.
Early Porsche 911. The first 911s had a shorter wheelbase, and the first generation cars were considerably lighter to begin with. Dangerous in the hands of drivers who don't know what they're doing. Fast in the hands of someone who does.
Pre-IRS Volkswagen Beetle: Before 1967 (I think, maybe '69), the Beetle had a swing axle rear suspension. And all Beetles have a fairly high CG and short wheelbase. There were two things that made it safer than you'd expect. First, it didn't have much power. The most powerful stock pre-IRS Beetles had a 1,500 cc motor with about 46 hp. Second, the car's structure was strong, offering better crash protection than most cars its size at the time.
1950s Mercedes 300 SL. Beautiful, advanced, powerful and engineered to a world-class standard. And equipped with a swing axle rear suspension. The car's high performance and tricky rear suspension make it dangerous. But I wish I could afford one.

I would say a soft top Jeep Wrangler is more dangerous from a head injury standpoint than the Ariel Atom.

Re-read my original post before getting your panties in a twist.
300hp neon's attract lights poles like a turd attracts flies, based on what I've seen.
I've never heard of an atom being wrecked either, you wanna volunteer to be in one for some high speed crash testing to prove that they're safe?
