OT - little info for the OG we-todds
I guess i'm becoming a softie in my old age... i just can't understand wtf is wrong with people sometimes.
I cam across this ad on craigslist Wednesday night of this week, here's the text from it:

This sweet little girl was found in a dumpster, she is being treated for mange and worms but other than that is very friendly. She is great with other dogs and is full of energy. I will need the name of your vet and two references. Please give Alma the home she deserves

So, we picked her up yesterday morning, and these are shots from when we just brought her home. She was exhausted to say the least, had a hard time with nearly everything. Today she's a totally different pup, so with some time/food/meds we'll get her back to 100%.
and to make this related to anything... after a almost 3 year hiatus, the mini will be in my new garage after this weekend.... hopefully get working on it again this winter.

whoever miss treated her is as bad as theives that steal R's. actually no. they are worse. dogs in my opinon are like people: they have a heart, they care, and they trust. NEVER MISS treat an animal!
You are a mighty good person for rescueing that dog! ive got a black lab/springer spanial/chow mix that my mom and i picked up on the side of the road. she was REALLY emaciated. it was so sad. but she cared for us since day one. 8 years later. she's still her

Still is, just under 30 lbs.
Status on the mini hasn't changed in the past 2 year. The pile of parts has become larger, and that's about it. And unfortunatly, mortgage vs. car parts.... will delay progress on multiple projects.

I hate to sound like a tree hugger, but we need more people like you in this world.[mini rant] Irresponsible pet owners can not take care of animals so they probably can't take care of their children. They should all be spayed and neutered.

oh, one mini detail.... she was found in a dumpster at Home Depot..... so it's not like she jumped in there herself looking for food....pretty much somebody had to 'trash' her.
