Open Ended Lug Nuts / Extended studs?
I used to have some Kyokugen lug nuts and they worked great, but they got to be a pain in the *** after a while.. Who else makes open ended lug nuts of good quality? Also who makes extended studs?

Re: Open Ended Lug Nuts / Extended studs? (RTW DC2)
is there a reason to have opened ended as opposed to the regular closed lugs?

I highly recommend AGAINST skunk2 wheelstuds and lugnuts.
10 of the 20 on my car either siezed, galled, stripped or snapped.
Some within the first month.
I recommend ARP studs.

Jeff Sloan uses ARP extended studs. Alot of people complained about the skunk2 studs. I'll see if I have the topic saved.
Here you go, this link should work.

order a box of the "Extended Conical Seat Bulge Nuts ( Open End )" and use the stock studs.
There was mention (somewhere) of a CL-S/TL-S application (a little bit longer Honda stud) that could be used in a Intrgra hub...

you can just use oem honda lug nuts, work fine for me with my extended studs. From a 94 accord ex they are openended, just use a deep socket

i was told in order to change the weel studs you would need to replace the wheel bearings. could this be true?

We were talking about skunk2 extended wheel studs, not the lug nuts. I don't think skunk2 makes any lug nuts?

Yeah WAI, Skunk2 does make dud nuts... Im two short now, the threads on them are stripped now... And they cost like 80 bucks... They are super light, but super cheap... And they also get scratched up easy(not that it matters to me). But for that price, these lug nuts should be top notch...
First skunk2 product that I have dissapproved.

The Axas lugnuts from Inline are really good. I've had them for a few months now on my racecar, and they hold up to abuse well. I zip them on and off pretty often, and the anondizing is still there.
