Good Find

Coincidence? We don't think so. That's because Integra Type R is about as close as the average driver will get to experiencing race car technology. It's bristling with components that were developed on the world's race tracks. You'll find a beefy, short-throw, 5-speed manual transmission with a close ratio gear set that keeps the engine in the sweet spot of the power curve on every shift. Massive four-wheel-disc brakes with ABS and internally ventilated front rotors. A hand-assembled engine. And a suspension that's ready for the Nurburgring the second you roll the Type R off the dealer's lot.

The elusive 2001 Integra Type R whooshes down the back roads of the popular imagination, humbling its prey with everything it learned at the racetrack. If you're lucky enough to get close to one in real life, take it all in. Observe the titanium shift **** atop the short-throw, close-ratio 5-speed manual transmission. With every shift, it can launch you into the sweet spot of the hand-assembled engine's power curve. Observe the massive 4-wheel-disc brakes, standard Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and internally ventilated front rotors. Observe the rigidity-enhancing aluminum bar linking the front towers of the Formula-One inspired suspension. Together with a helical limited-slip differential, the fully independent suspension helps the Integra Type R squeeze through turns with the tenacity of a slot car</TD></TR></TABLE>

I managed to grab most of the Type R pages and pics for pre-1997 hype all the way to 2001, if anyone wants them. Saved them as images and full PDF pages.
ALSO: Managed to grab the "virtual reality" quicktime movies for the 1997 R and NSX!!! :D
