Default OBD Problems

I recently purchased an ITR and it has the check engine light on and the guy i bought it from said it was the O2 sensor. but when i went to check the codes i noticed that he had put in an P30 Automatic ECU and was using a jumper to do it. So i purchased a P73 ECU for my car and the original wiring doesnt fit in my new ECU. Well everything fits except one plug which is too big for the little slot on the right of the ECU. If anyone is familiar w/ this problem then i need help.
