I had a o2 censor go bad on my 94 Integra GSR. I have replaced the censor twice with brand new o2 Censors. So I switched ECUs with 2 friends the first friends I was told that the o2 censor was turned off. There was no check engine light in my car with his ECU. With my ecu in his car there was the same check engine light with my ECU. So now I am thinking that my ECU is bad or maybe my chip maybe bad. SO I got another ECU that I know was running a o2 censor did the same switched ECUs and same thing my car ran great with no check engine lights. His car had a check engine light on and for the same code!

Has this problem ever happened to anyone else and is it my whole ECU or just my chip. Sorry for any spelling or punctuation errors!

thanks that is what i am hoping the problem is! I am using a P72 ECU programed for high compression

 

You can always check to see if its the ecu or the chip itself by cutting the j1 jumper....this converts the ecu back to stock quickly
