Re: (Bbasso)
King of Prussia Mall dude - it's the perfect meeting location...
http://www.kingofprussiamall.c...p.htm
It's surrounded by huge parking lots, and is minutes from the pa turnpike...
Plenty of spots to eat around there too.

Re: (Philly_NBP_R)
MMM sounds like a plan, Estimated Total Driving Time:
1 hour, 55 minutes Estimated Total Driving Distance:
104 miles, I guess I could leave my house at 5 am and be there around 7 or so.
Anyone else from the NYC area want to do this?

Re: (RTW DC2)
if we met at the KOP mall around 10 am, then we should be in Beaver by 3 - 4 pm - that would be just about perfect. You guys don't have to get up that early!

Re: (RTW DC2)
If you leave any later then 5am you and opie are going to be in the middle of rush hour traffic and that would really suck! Don't forget that while we are going to play other millions of people are going to work on Friday morning and coming down thru Manhattan will take you over an hour if you leave at 5 am and that puts you at my house about 630.
IF you can get to my house around 7 am, we will have an easy drive to KOP
Gotta do this early as possible, One of the reasons is that I don't want to get to Beaver very late in the day because I and all of us need time to unwind from the drive.

Im not meeting you at your fuggin house, F that. Took us 5.5hrs to get to Dans house that day. At the very least, Ill be meeting you, opie, anyone else on the highway somewhere.
Now, depending which way you wanna go to get to the Philly area, thats gonna determine what time you need to leave the city. There is no traffic leaving the city, everyone is heading to the city. ANY time I go to the Philly area, I take I-476 straight down. That road rules, not much (if any) traffic, straight as an arrow roads, low cop potential (no turn around or hiding spots), a really easy cruise. I dont suggest driving the NJTP or whatever else to get down there but thats just me. Could probably take I-80 out to I-476 and shoot straight down to Philly.

ahhh true I usually head west from up here over to Wilkes-Barre, then go South.
What about taking I-78 west, pick up I-476, and shoot south? Too far out of the way for j00?

How fast did you have to go to catch up again Rob?

When Dave and I conversate and organize it's the quickest, safest route. Of course though, Oscar has got to be on point.
Looks like when Rob's the principal it' a rollin party!
to the party!
Wish I could come too. Have fun, be safe and ROLL DEEP! (whatever that means)

Speed limits are ment to be broken
As for traveling south then back up... For me its not that much off course, I took the southern route there and back last time and did it quickly. for me tyo head north to catch 80W is more of a pain cause of the traffic

I may have to meet the caravan in NJ. A close friend is having his 21st b-day
celebration in Atlantic City that weekend and I may roll on Thursday.
Get 'ed and broke at the tables then meet you slobs on the road to the Beave!

Re: (opie)
just take the damn NJTPK - it's the most direct route down to the filthydelphia area...
you can jump on the PA turnpike (i276 west) north of Philadelphia near Bristol, and head west to the KOP area to meet us...

Ahh, memories.
Me remembering stopping at one of the many gas stations because of our constant velocity, and coming out to see I parked in some Amish Gentleman's parking spot for his buggy Duh! And then moving and letting him in.

Last year we all met at a rest stop about 1/3 of the way west from philly, worked out great...

What rest stop is this? We met the Canadians at the Angola rest stop last year...if we cannot take your route we'd like to meet up somewhere...
