You daily drive your ITR in LA?

I personally think keeping your factory wheel is the best option, or upgrading to the JDM ITR SRS unit. For a daily driver, an airbag is a must. Not to mention, its illegal to remove. That may not be an issue for some but since you are in California I would imagine airbag removal would be a pretty big deal.

My new R has no airbags nor any part of the SRS system. In Virginia the car passes inspection as long as the entire system has been removed. Its an all or nothing thing here.

My impression of California is that they are very strict concerning auto regulations, and that their cops are more intelligent than most with these types of legality issues.

I'l double check, but the last I checked it was illegal to remove the SRS system here in TN. I do not currently have plans to remove my ABS system for pure safety reasons. In my gs-r it wasn't a large concern(I had the pass. airbag removed) but I had an autopower 4pt, G-Sport 5pt harnesses, and Recaro FIA fixed bucket seats.

The only way for you to know which is more comfortable, is to try both. We can't tell you which is gonna be more comfortable to you.

Here is a list of car security strategies that can't be relied upon for various reasons. Some of these strategies are viable visual deterrents, but if they're inconvenient, high in cost, or simply ineffective, they made the list. If I keep coming across posts that say "help, my car got stolen even though I ---.", that --- made the list.

Removing ECU
Removing Fuses/Relays
Removing plug wires/distributor cap
Removable steering wheel
Club-like devices
Starter kill chip
Standard alarm install
Factory alarm
Factory immobilizer
Factory steering wheel lock
Any type of switch/chip/start kill device that is:
A) visible
B) connected to the ignition harness

Ignorance

I am hoping this will be used as a layer, in addition to several other more important security measures highlighted in the thread referenced.

I had 350 and I will/would buy 330 next time. I know monte carlo isnt in 330, but there are some nice Sparco wheels

as for your question. If I only had 320 and 350 I would go with 320.

350 for sure.
320 is too small, it will affect the steering ratio.

They dont really. But written law states that if the vehicle came factory with airbags, the car must have them.

no it won't.

This is kind of like asking what size shoes you should buy. It's really personal preference and we can't tell you what you will like.

Unless the law was changed, I was told this by multiple inspectors at work.

Ic What you guys mean..some like smaller some like bigger. I guess 320 would be a bit small for a daily and i dont want to buy both sizes due to a tight budget. But i know 320/330 look way tiny in the pics and looks like a f1 wheel. One more question what are stock honda/acura wheels? are they 380?

380 sounds about right. My new R has a 330mm Personal wheel, and I think its very comfortable. Its all gonna be personal opinion on whats best.

i've had both the 320mm and the 350mm. i personally prefer the 350mm. The 320mm is a bit too small and you can't see your entire gauge cluster through the wheel.

I've had a number of steering wheels including a Sparco Flash 5 in 350mm, Nardi in 350mm, Momo Monte Carlo in 320mm and Momo Tuner in 320mm. I prefer the 320mm for overall use both on the street or the track.

...yea and makes it better. I have a 320 and I love it, and I could drive my R daily if I chose to. I love the feel of the smaller wheel and turning is much easier since you have to turn it less.

Also, I am pretty tall, but I can see my cluster just fine.

My bro have the 320mm momo course and I have both ITR and momo which is 350mm. I'm 5'8" and the 320mm one block my view to the gauage and my bro is 6'8" so he have no problem with it. As for feel, the bigger it is, the easier to turn the wheel but the more you need to turn wheel. Personally he 320mm one is too small for me and the 350mm is just perfect for me.

Have a 350mm Sparco Flash 5 in my ITR and its feels pretty nice. I think the 320mm is too small for my car because it has no power steering, and would give way too much feedback when driving. If you have no Power Steering, go with the 350mm for sure, and to be honest 320mm seems out of place in a Integra.

All I am getting out this thread is that wheel size is all about personal preference. You gotta try it out to know for sure.
