What are you going for? I'd start with bolt ons, and if you desire more power, go from there... But you can get a good amount of power from intake, header, exhaust, and a good tune. I've heard of well into 190whp+ with bolt ons and tuning.

First off....fastest responses ever thank you.

Spoon cams are a lot cheaper then full exhaust...but if i am going to see a difference with exhaust as well then maybe i should start from there...

what i am looking for in the end is 220-230 whp would be nice

i don't think 220-230 whp is achievable with just bolt ons, unless you go turbo, supercharger or nitrous.

High quality bolt ons and a nice head package with higher CR would do that... I'd recommend:

-Mugen Intake
-ImportBuilders ported and polished Type-R intake
-RPM Services 72-70mm throttle body
-Mild port work to the head
-JUN valvetrain (Springs/retainers)
-JUN-III cams
-P73-00 Integra Type-R pistons
-Single layer headgasket
-SMS-P header
-SMS-P 2.5" exhaust
-440cc injectors
-Some form of GOOD fuel management, and a good tune

That would yield 220-230whp with a good tune. Pair that with a tighter final drive (ATS 4.928/5.077, JDM ITR 4.785), and damn, you're talking about a fun car.

yah i have gone thrugh similar things with the H series motors...it just seems that exhaust is a lot more important to B series. I have looked into Spoon cams seems good for street...JunIII seems a bit agressive but then 220whp is a bit much to expect aswell

JUN-IIIs are fine for street use. I've heard of 215-220whp on a completely stock Type-R bottom end/head/intake system with JUN-III headpackage.

No problem.

Just remember, that most aggressive cams react better with a higher CR (Typically around 11.5:1+), so you'll be missing out a bit on stock USDM 10.6:1CR. At the very least, I'd go with P73-00 JDM Integra Type-R pistons with a single layer headgasket (Which would put you in optimal CR range for aggressive cams), and you'll create much more power over stock USDM bottom end.

That's my advice, at least look into doing that to the bottom end at the very least.
