Re: For the light weight ****'s in the group.. (Rene M)
YOu call yourself a lightweight ****?
A REAL light weight **** (like myself) just gets rid of the spare, and the jack and the tools and the bolt that holds down the spare, and the braket to attach the jack and the nut welded to the floor to screw in the spare hold down bolt and the light in the hatch to see the spare and the pages in the owners manual on how to change a spare.........
yup, I take weight reduction to a whole new level..

Oh yeah, well I replaced my owners manual with the JDM one, and I can't even find the page to change the spare tire!
You still have a USDM/CDM one? That is, like, so 1990's.
(lol!!!)

I got ten bucks that says I 've taken it further.
-Kendall, who rewired his hatch (and his R before it) to shorten the wire lengths because he ran out of things to unbolt in order to save weight

Re: For the light weight ****'s in the group.. (MightyMouseTech)
Ive seen stuff taken out of R's to serve 3 purposes:
1) Drop weight to go faster
2) Drop weight to make up for the driver being a fatass
3) Drop people from gettin in the rear seats. Drivers dont generally like back seat drivers; so they take out anything and everything directly behind the front seats. Then add a b-pillar bar for their racing harness; so that if someone does decide that he can somehow get inside...he will regret sittin in the "back seat" ontop of a bucket bouncing around like hes going offroading.
So in essense. A light car > A light car with a fatass driver > A light car with backseat drivers.
