Default Largest bore....

What's the largest bore you can go with on a c5 or c1 without having cooling issues? Let's say the block is darton sleeved...

I think you can go all the way to 87mm but that has to be pushing it.
I think the biggest problem at 87mm is headgasket sealing issues.

Is there any cylinder wall left between cylinders at 87mm? That has to be really pushing cylinder to cylinder spacing. I would not go bigger than 85mm unless I had money to burn.

Eventually you're going to run into diminishing returns due to airflow limitations. Keep in mind that the head was originally designed for a 1600 cc engine.
