Re: Koala's Expo 12 Photos
Most of the time that #110 was out there flying past people, whether in Advanced or Instructor, it was Corey Jacobs driving it.
People thought it was me in Advanced and that I was doing very well...but it was really my race driver. :-)
I loved the looks on both his face and Steve's. They really liked that track and liked the way the cars were working on it.
The funny thing...#110 looked like hell on wheels at Expo. But when it gets back to its home track it's going to be quite slow at all its usual events when Porsches and Ferraris will be all over it, especially on the main straight.

Up close I forget how big it is. But if I'm at a distance and catch that damned thing in profile, I'm like..."What the hell are we doing?"
LOL....
We started towing the two cars together a few years ago. Luckily, so far as Dodge Cummins Turbo-Diesels go, this one has been pretty much trouble free.
Clutch already replaced, wheel bearings already replaced. The last annoying thing was Steve having to spend a week looking for an odd electrical problem. But that didn't cost anything but time.
Rubber can be troublesome. Three axles on the Haulmark. Six tyres on the Dodge.
Oh, my god.... What are we doing....
LOL....

I'm amazed how many cars these days have Mugen (or imitation) wings.

Re: Koala's Expo 12 Photos
It was a fun time. It's the kind of track that makes old people quite dizzy, however. :-)
Corey Jacobs, former Honda Challenge champion, purloined my car and was doing low 1:44's (and I mean, like 1:44.02) for two days.
Needless to say, both #110 and #120 need new tyres.

Re: Koala's Expo 12 Photos
Missed this question. Sorry.
No.
#120 is a US B Motor, basically an H2 car. It's getting very tired, though, and Steve's already asking about getting a JDM B Motor to start planning on having to replace his original motor soon.
He still did decently, though. I didn't time him a lot, but he was in 1:51's when I did...sort of at the high end of H2 times when configured with the kink, I think, unless I'm reading things wrong.
We're all tired of the angry wasp noise out of #120, too. It's going to show up with a full exhaust like #110, at some point. :-) I love the exhaust on the black car. It's throaty enough to know something's strong, but it's easy to listen to for long periods. If I had to drive Steve's car all the time I'd have to use ear plugs.

I used to run with mine up and you know how loud my car is. I actually started running ear plugs, then I started running visor down. I then took the ear plugs out because it was so much quieter.
