Ok, have a freind with a B17 in an ef hatch. Using a PR3 ECU and the code for the knock sensor keeps showing. Changed the Knock sensor and still the problem persists.

ANy sugestions what woudl cause this? running 93 octane.

 

one quick question. Could he use an OBD1 (94) P72 in place of the PR3 to test the knock sensor?

 

Surely someone knows this . . . Or has some thoughts on the matter.

 

It could be that hes not tunes. causing some knocking. the pr3 should be fine. i have a b17a also and im using a p61.
