Default Jdm radio

anyone have one of these? A few ?'s, what is the plug on the side for? And do you have to do something special to make the radio work?

Post a picture of the plug. You need an FM frequency expander to pick up US stations.

How is the CD player performance? My CRV 6-disk tends to skip a little when it's hotter outside with CDs 2-5 on the later tracks.

its sound is much better than the oem one that the r came with, as for skipping it has no anti skip, so it does in a hard shift.

I don't see a ground plug. I just see the antenna hole, the radio harness slot, and the side harness connecting the radio to the CD player.

the arrow is where the plug is, the circle is the ground.

The more I think about it, I bet it is for a cd changer. Otherwiase there is no plug for one.
