JDM ITR steering wheel help!!!
Well i finally installed my jdm itr non srs steering wheel the other using some info and instructions posted on HT but my horn still doesnt work...i followed the instructions very carefully but cant seem to make it work...for all you guys that have this same steering wheel, how did u get the horn to work? am i not doing something...my mechanic told me that there would be no way of getting the horn to work. can anyone help me that has dealt with this? is the clock spring supposed to be removed or does it have to stay in the steering column cuz my mechanic said the only reason it isnt working is because the clock spring was removed...i need help quick cuz i got inspection coming up and i already got rejected...so i need to fix this soon...thanks

switch steering wheels back before your inspection, I have to do that with my JDM cluster switching back to US before our emissions inspection in WA.
I have the steering wheel also and couldn't get the horn working, and was also told it won't work. I just don't care that much, I love the wheel

Re: JDM ITR steering wheel help!!! (JUN.R)
I got my GSR to work with the non SRS ITR wheel. Im not sure which ITR you have and if they are the same. I removed everything.
There are TWO different instructions on how to make it work.
One of them mentions a grey SRS plug. that is for later model Integras. My 94 GSR didnt have the grey plug.
So i checked on HT.com and found another one.
You will need to get a piece of metal from an EG. basically there is supposed to be a piece of metal that touches that back of the steering wheel. and for my car you have to tap into the SRS plug under the dash.
I hope that helps you get on your way.
