I think you're getting confused with the front bearings. In the front, you press out the bearing and re-use your existing hub. For the rear, the hub and bearing is one unit and needs to be replaced as a whole.

Re: jdm ITR rear Hub bearing question
no i m talking about the rear only. i took the hub out and u can clearly press it out from what it looks like .i hear that the crv and prelude have a smilar rear hub . so i was wondering if the rear bearing outta a crv or lude might be the same size as the jdm type r? the new hub for the jdm type r is around $200 and it fits from the usdm type r correct? but what if a crv bearing or lude bearing will fit and all i have to do is press it out from that hub and press it into mine!! i can getr crv and lude hubs for dirt cheap brand new.

From my understanding you can only buy rear bearings and hubs as a whole piece inc. crv and prelude try it out maybe you found something we don't know about

Re: jdm ITR rear Hub bearing question
Yeah, there is no separate part number for just the rear bearing because its not meant to be replaced by itself. You can try to replace the bearing by pressing it out, but if it doesn't work out, you'll end up spending more money.
If you can't afford the oem bearings, there are less expensive alternatives such as autozone or whatever auto parts store you have in your area that sells oe replacements.

Re: jdm ITR rear Hub bearing question
I think kamcui80's questions are legit. I pal of mine recently replaced his wheel bearings ONLY on his CTR rear trailing arms. He said he paid $50. each for them. I actually had the bearing in my hand, it was in a sealed green bag but I couldn't verify if it came from honda.
Unfortunately, he got them from some guy and he has no way of contacting him now.
Because I have no way of finding out what size bearings, where to get them and because I have a broken stud on one side, I will be purchasing a new pair of OEM bearings with hubs soon.
If I find the bearing by itself before, I'll be changing that only.

Re: jdm ITR rear Hub bearing question
you must not be looking at the correct thing. a rear 5th gen prelude hub(rear wheel bearing) is $113.XX per side on majestic. just buy the correct part and save yourself a headache cause this thread was becoming one...
