That's true..the itr im is somewhat similar to the Skunk2 pro IM, sigh oh well I hope there is some gain by using the pro IM with this setup

Haha Mugen Type R - I will get an engine bay pic when all is said and done, the before pic looks old and dirty but oh wells I might just post up the before and after

Ohh I used to study in wichita, ks but i'm no longer there so u guys definitely wont see it around town =P. I'm back to where my home is..malaysia

The jdm itr 95/96/97 comes with 4 lugs alkoholikwun, it is only from 98 onwards that it is upgraded to 5 lugs

Are you from KL, PJ or other? I'm from KL. Maybe i'll see your rebuilt DC2R on the road soon. I'll be ricing the roads with my DC2 Si.

Haha don't go to Damansara Utama then, damn a lot of thefts always in that area.

I want to go to track days but i wanna swap my 15s out for some 16s and good rubber first.

Right now my DC2 is still stuck at the shop getting it's head ported, new piston rings and a block guard put in. Should be all ready to go hopefully by Friday.

Do you TT with any group? I normally hang out with the S15 owners club every so often. You are welcome to come out as they are a friendly bunch.

Ohh? where u sent ur car to? mine is at n1 rebuilding as well, when u said dc2 si i presume u have a b16a in it right? haha sounds good, block guard? bored it kau kau?

Ermm i don't really hang out with any group but i got quite a few friends driving evos and sometimes they hang out with the meoc people, but usually just hang out with my own frens la haha

Nope my DC2 Si is a B18C Si/GSR.

My mech wants to bore it out but i don't want that kinda trouble heh decided to keep it going as a 1.8L. But my valves all got ported 1mm which should give me a bit more grunt heh.

I send my car to my friend's workshop in Puchong. Good guy, mostly specialises in SR20DETs.

Yeah i'm pretty much tapped out of cash as well after i pay my bill from the workshop haha.

Well hope to see ya soon. Just PM me if you wanna hang out one day.

Very worn bearings...

Tapered cylinder

Off it went to the machine shop then for boring and honing all the good stuff, while I gathered up some goodies

Back from the machine shop..all freshened up!

Now to piece the puzzle back

Dialing in the cams..

Thanks to all

z3r0 - haha yea sent it to n1, dyno session arr..that 1 shud be somewhere mid of next month, will let u know la and sure if u wanan come over haha

Slain - shrug, bought the car that way..but it seems to fit pretty well from what I see

eric - hahaha fk off, it's just a temp valve cover while i look for something nicer ok..at least it's better than my half peeled off / tainted rotten type r valve cover, fk off i'll get a nicer 1 down the road...get a s15 la, our jdm gang need more variety haha. So ehh how the canards? injectors reach oledi or not and i'm deciding either the skunk2 or str tb la..both same price, fuel rail and ss lines u get from ebay and canards? KEKEKE

Wahahaha looks like **** seriously. Aiyah, just repaint wrinkle red. it looks almost the same.

Are you seriously wanting canards? You probably will get zero gain from canards. Improving front downforce on a FWD car = more understeer if downforce bias is towards the front. (and also remember that canards do jackshit for downforce actually. front lip spoiler does more) but if you're going for looks only... zzz haha it'll look okay. =P

Nope, injectors are still on their way i guess. Got a tracking #?

Tiu, SS lines you can get back home also the same price seriously. It's bout $100+ here for the fronts and a little less for the rears for goodridge or Earl's. Ebay waiting for bing cashback on black friday (if there's going to be one) haha! =D

Yeah, been thinking already what car to get. Wahaha. Targetting S15 or Evo6 in Aussie-land. Should be the same la if in Malaysia.

Writing up my post to sell my car here now.. emo.

Lemme jack your thread first.

BUY MY B18C JDM ITR EK! =P

very nice build... but what eric said... lose the cover man!!!

redo your OEM one... go creative and make it a lil artsy!

don't think i'll be back at the end of the year but definitely can't wait to check out your car in the near future!!!

you know i'm lala so canards would look good depending on what type... if you're gonna go for looks compliment it with a carbon lip maybe? haha

divinition, getting an Evo6 that isn't a converted lancer 1.6 is super hard now in M'sia, i tried for the better part of 3 months to get an ori one that didn't cost over 90k Ringgit.

VeilsideMAS, sure man, i'll tag along post it up here or PM me. Curious to see what kinda numbers your setup is gonna be pushing. I'm looking to get a dyno run in myself around middle next month if not sometime early January. I'm halfway thru the break/run in period for my motor, just need to get another extractor and i'm good for a retune.

haha when i bought the fake *** cf valve cover the seller also got the repainted wrinkle red one..but that one looks fake as well so i tot wth la, try something diff

huh u mean more oversteer is it, how can more understeer when got more traction to the front wheels, got this article quite good to read regarding 'splitting' the aerodynamics forces based on weight distribution as well but i'll never know unless
i put my car in the wind tunnel haha..
yeala going for looks too la knn, but based on the article and from what i read elsewhere, the canards will benefit in some ways and of course make me look more lala

injectors should be here got tracking too lazy to paste it here..now i dunno str or skunk2..haha can i get both 1st? and decide later cause can sell here and make money anyway ^_^

knn..it's $100 for a set la front and rear scare me tot y so expensive and if there is a cashback on black fri even cheaper..here ciplak brand selling bout rm300-400

Evo 6 here rare a bit..but can still find, get a s15 thx

Yo Slain! Nahh it's cool haha cause I myself don't really know =P

Haiyor jeremy it's ok..down the road i sure change one ahaha, wont keep this forever
Chilling bro..u sure come back 1 day then u can butt dyno haha..definitely faster than the eg
Carbon lip..well i did consider cause now my lip got crack but nahh..mas roads and sohai bumps..not worth the rm800 investment for it to get scratched and crack after 1 month,
so just gonna buy back a replica itr lip la for rm180 only..painted summore
Canards..haha seriously considering la..trying to find pics / imagine how it'll look like on my car

hey hey z3ro..wats ur name bro, yea evo6s usually cost about 90k+ usually..or u can buy my fren's evo 6.5, jun stroked to 2.2l and duno wat other kok **** he put in his car la for about 140k? lol
Ohh? u rebuilt ur engine too? Well hopefully at least in the region of 225whp, what headers are you looking for? I'm considering selling my feel's header (dunno how much it's worth haha), think bout getting 1 from the states..

My name is Jonn (no typo :S).

Yeah just semi rebuilt (piston rings, top overhaul kit, port and polish only, still stock GSR cams) . I was interested in getting an evo before i bought my DC2. Now that i have my DC2 i won't be buying anything else for a while haha, still paying for it now :D.

Is your feel's header 4-2-1 or 4-1? Collector size? I don't mind taking a look. The headers i might get at the end of month are a custom built "white" steel 4-2-1 with a 2.5 inch collector. It's cheap cheap from Seremban hahaha. Using it to replace the one i have now which is leaking slightly. How much do you want for the feel's, lemme know.

Will PM you my number, i won't be in town as of Saturday going off to Phuket for my 30th birthday, yay (sorta). But i'll be back Tuesday.

Jonn: haha the rebuilt sounds like a brand new engine to me already, just that y didn't change the bearings and the pistons as well =P. Ahh haha I dunno man, I've test driven powerful turbo'ed cars before but no matter what I still like vtec haha

It's a 4-2-1 header, should be a 2.5", I haven't measure them before and I can't get much info on them online haha. I'm not really sure how much they go for also haha..probably 1k+? i dunno seriously but I'll take a look at how it performs on the dyno first, if it does well then I'll just save the trouble, else I might get one from the states and sell it off to you

Hope u had fun at pangkor!

Tyrant 007: Shrug, just bought it off some1 from the forums, probably change it in a few month's time haha
