yes, I did everything my on my own, using the techniques of cutting the 4 headlights opening...

I tried to drill out the spot weld, after removing all the spot welds, I bent the upper headlight opening trying to pull away the upper support, even after you have drill out all the spot weld flawlessly, you still have to deal with adhesive substance the factory put on there, I tried everything. Because I did not want to spend anymore money to buy a new radiator support, I started the cutting the headlight opening method...

it works perfectly for me, took me a whole night to complete it and 50 bucks in welder's rental cost...

funny, I posted and wrote a short write up monhts ago about this, and got flamed for being cheap

see for yourself...

it came like that. it was complete used jdm radiator support. and i was super careful drilling the spot welds.....i guess i was too arrogant to notice that the bends werent suppose to be there.

I have very detailed pics of my install, I'll try to go home tonight and scan them.
also are you removing the radiator, a/c condensor? you also need the 2nd gen hood latch/cable. don't forget you'll need to cut the frame/inner fender to accecpt the JDM headlights.

Update: Well as fun as it was last night in the dark, i got a little frustrated, heh, anyways....As always, thanks to stan, my morning went better, except for the fact i cant weld good (the shitty wirefed welder didnt help much anyways) and a little time and effort, its starting to look good had to bend the hell out of an a/c line to get the HID housing to fit on the drivers side, but its pretty good, now time to put on the bumper and see how she looks

Edit: and no, my fenders arent bolted down, lol they are just thrown on there right now

hell yeah!

are you going to primer or paint the radiator support so it won't rust? or will the previous paint hold up to the seasons?
