Default ITR Shiftboot

Is the ITR shift boot made out of different/better material than the GS-R one?

Are the JDM ITR shift boots the same as the USDM one, just with red/yellow stitching?

Damn, no use gettin a JDM shift boot then for the damn stitching. I'll just get a new GS-R boot.

Also, do 00-01 ITR's have a nut on the bottom of the shiftknob that holds the boot up?

There is a nut but I think it's there to prevent the shift **** from unscrewing by itself from everyday use. The boot does not stay up right below the shift ****.

unless you have a 97-98 R where the shiftknob attaches to the boot

If you really want the stitching, go to Michael's or some fabric and linen store and get a red thread, they have a bunch of selection and stitch it on but I was too chicken so I took it to a seamstress, paid twenty dollars, looks like a JDM boot. Now, I am thinking of rethreading my leather wrap on the steering wheel with red thread. Do you guys think this will look good?

Yeah I know, that should always be the question but I know too many people who get bashed for aluminum spoilers, decals, etc etc etc.....and yet, I am sure they did that because they think it looks good.
