Default itr ignition timing help!!!!

what should the ignition timing be on a 01 type R w/ skunk 2 stage 2 cams
and a 50 shot..... i dont wanna sound retarded you might get this all the time from the ricers but its for a friend of mine and he needs advice so i would appreciate it fellas.

Don't screw around with nitrous if you don't know what you are doing.

Get it professionally installed - or your "friend" might need to buy a new motor.

Do you mean timing as in base timing? If so, it won't help much on the Skunk2 Stage 2 cams. The engine will behave totally different with these cams compared to stock cams, so your engine would want different ignition timing at different rpm's and at different throttle position. Your best bet is to get a standalone and fine tune the car.

i understand all of what you guys are saying ...it was installed by a professional but i was just wondering w/ the cams what the timing should be set at? so your saying to go w/ a dyno?or does anyone know off hand the degrees?
