Re: ITR EXPO
very very very sad place.
OP, just google itr expo, I'm not sure what you can/can't link off this place.
Currently, they're planning to have it in California if enough people sign up.

Re: ITR EXPO
Well this is pending they can get the registered support in a short time window or it may be derailed somewhere else. I have no desire to go to a California expo but I hope the guys there realize what a potentially awesome opportunity they're going to have presented to them, hopefully they seize the moment.

Re: ITR EXPO
I was going to try and make it to EXPO this summer, but I can't see having the time and money and shotgun partner for a ride out there like that, although it's always been a dream of mine to drive across the country.

I definitly was planning on going to expo 11 but being that it would take like all my vac time from work and a sh$t load of money for travel expenses etc. not gonna even try... i think the midwest was fair enough for both east and west coast.. but ah well GL and best wishes!!! Ill be looking out for coverage of the event upon completion!!

Yep, the WMHM guys are friends with all the Expo guys. You see a lot of overlap, which is awesome.

Update: (cross-posted from ITRCA)
***Important Announcement***
Expo 11
Where: Buttonwillow in Californina - http://buttonwillowraceway.com/
Date: May 7/8 (Saturday/Sunday)
We will open registration ASAP. As mentioned, we need to hit the 60 paid drivers # in a very short time-frame, exact date to be determined shortly. We will start out by limiting the run group sizes to 20-25 drivers. After that, you will be put on a waiting list. If we do not hit the min number needed by the drop-dead date, we will close registration, refund those that paid, and move the event to a different location.
Your spot is only secured if your full payment has cleared - payments to be paid via Paypal. If you need other options, please contact me at wmoore@oppd.com.

Re: ITR EXPO
We can fend for ourselves for this year. There are more than enough midwest/Eastcoast EXPO'ers to get a Mini event organized to appease our hunger for a get-together.
It's on the west coasters now to step up and really make an impact. Prove the haters wrong, and get those cars out of the garage. My first on track experience was EXPO 6. Having that as an introduction into the world of high performance driving set the tone for the past 5 years. Complete addiction. I promise you will never forget it.

Re: ITR EXPO
hahaha, one would think that, but I think i can speak for most of the EXPO attendees when I say that EXPO is more than just an HPDE , and we all want you guys to experience this event to the fullest.

Re: ITR EXPO
I'll figure out something for the MW/EC if the WC jumps at this chance. That should be the priority of the WC right now though, jumping at this opportunity.
