ITR 4 lugs/ITR 5 lugs
ok here goes as far as i know the 4 lug off the 97 and 5 lug off the 98+ are the same other then the extra lug correct? so i take it if i cange the hub(where the studs go) on my ITR 4 lug set up to that of the 5 lug would it fit?
then get a 5 lug rotor and wheels...ill have my 5 lug convert RIGHT? ive been looking at my friends EM1 with 5 lugs and comparing it to my ITR 4 lug and it look the same to me.
if so ill just buy the arms, rotors and wheels.....please help a brother out!

No ITRs were ever sold in this country with four lugs.
If you have a '97 ITR like you say you do, I suggest you go out to your car and re-count how many lugnuts are on each wheel.

His screen name is "SnoFlake EG", so he probably has a 92-95 Civic with a '97 JDM ITR 4-lug conversion.

you would also need to change the caliper and brakelines, the old lines would work but there would not be enough slack so its safer to use 5lug lines, and i'm not sure but you would need to change the bearings as well.

96 4-lug. If he had the 96 conversion I doubt he'd be asking these questions. And if he DID have the 96 conversion then it would be flat-out-retarded to want 5-lug when 5-lug could have been done in the first place.

yup, the only reason to swap a 4lug jdm itr is to use the rims. other than that no real advantage.

So rear disk conversion is useless?

Re: ITR 4 lugs/ITR 5 lugs (CivicSiR94)
Correction.
95.5 - 97 ITR= 4 lug
98 - 01= 5 lug
Jdm, of course.
BTW, this is a nice site to browse around.

yes but all that is the same thing as a regular integra, only different is bolt pattern.
sure it comes with rims, thats why i said other than the rims its not worthed to do the swap.

Re: (esponet)
ok for all those people above that had no clue what i was say let me clear it
i have a EG hatch with the ITR 4 LUG!!!!!!!! i want to go 5 lug now. i want to swap between the CTR and 7 spoke R wheels...
i know the whole GSR brake cheap etc blah blah but like i said b 4 i have the ITR 4 lug and want to go 5. would it be easier to convert my 4 lug to 5 or should i buy the complete set up agian and sell mine?
also could the GSR rotorr be re-drilled to 5X114? or is the hub too small?
thanx to those that knew what i was saying

Re: (KOALA YUMMIES)
ok i had my front set up broken down but had nothing to compare and trying to see how i can go about fabricating my ITR 4's to 5...... is there enough room to re drill my hibs to 5x114 and re drill GSR rotor to 5x114?

Re: (SnoFlake EG)
The wheel hub might go into the upright, but what bearing you'd use and how you'd space the caliper would have to be customfab'd. The GSR rotor is the wrong size for the ITR caliper (5 lug) though.
