My car was originally from Charlotte (Last owner), he daily drove it for 2 years, while attending school at UNCC... I'm very surprised #686 is still in existance.
Oh well, she's nice and safe in the garage, not daily driven.

UPDATE (Read the original post date before wishing "good luck with recovery" )
Appears this R was recovered unstripped and is now on ebay, although with a salvage title. Even the badge was left
Too bad they didn't take the body kit
Ebay linky.

HAHAHAHAHA, oh man, that **** got me rolling.
In that case, let me change my Prelude's title from "Type-SH" to "Type-R"... I mean, it DOES have factory 5x114.3. Sweet, I have two Type-Rs!

yes...that is the car
the car was recoverd shortly after this thread....it had been stolen and apparently the steering locked up on the theif...and they ran it into a pole at slow speed. they had destroyed the front bumper, and that was the extent of the cosmetic damage.
the exhaust was stolen, the plug wires were, and a few other small....random things. NONE of the interior was...so, obvioulsy, an IDIOT stole it, haha.
but....the reason it's salvaged......they DESTROYED the engine. Not sure how/what they did......but, i went over the day after it was recovered to give my professional opinion for the insurance company, and.....they HAD to of tossed some bolts into the intake mani. The rods were all bent, the pistons were pitted and scared, the cylinder walls were gouged, and almost all of the valves were bent as well.
oh well...he has a brand new M3...so he's happy, haha
