Because of the mods you have done. Your OEM injectors should be enough for your setup.
Who tuned this car? Was it tuned properly on a dyno?

Re: injectors maxing out (kaliparts)
yes it was set up on a dyno but i didnt feel he did a good job, i was still getting knock and flat spots after it was done.i will be getting it done again by another tuner soon after i fit the magnus IM and new valve springs and a few other bits.any search i did here on H-T said that the ITR injectors were 240cc.

It is very possible that your injectors are maxed out. They are tuned from the factory at almost max duty!
Use a balanced injector when ever possible. You never know the condition of old injectors. RC injectors are good NEW (440cc would suit you fine.)
Also make sure your not encountering fuel pump problems that could be leading you to believe your injectors are maxed, when it is just your fuel pump that is not doing the job. Check your fuel pressure on a dyno and make sure it is not dropping at high load.

Re: (IntegraTionR)
thanks sander.
its flashing in the high rpms, up around 6.5-7k onwards, happens more on a good cold night, obviously due to the colder denser air providing a higher demand for more fuel!

fuel pressure regulators allow you to go nuts with duty. They also may not be aware that they are at max duty.
you can go up to 110% with hondata which is techincally impossible.

Re: (IntegraTionR)
I also have a 96 JDM ITR. When my engine was stock, with the exceptions of a 98 Header and 5Zigen Fireball exhaust, my Apexi Power FC also showed 100% duty cycle at high RPM in 5th gear.
I don't think the Power FC gives consideration to increased fuel pressures (you'll have to work out that math urself), but you can easily input the percentage difference of larger injectors with the commander.
I am currently in the market for some 370's, as I'll be running bigger cams and more compression.

This is correct, though you have to make sure the prelude injectors are from a 97-01 Prelude. '93 H22 ones will not work without modifications. Additionally, this motor was tuned by Jack at P1.

no its defo for the injectors, the flashes for knock are much faster.
i forgot to mention i have a sard fpr too, after a search on here i found it was set too low, runs alot better now, i havent tried a good hard run yet to see if it made a difference to my flashing light!
i think i might just do that now.
