If you go and Don't speak any Italian I would say to Visit Florence and surrounding areas (Pisa, Venice etc.) In Florence itself Most if not all Locals Speak english, The crappy part was that it felt to americanized at some places. I didnt have a problem in the language section because I used to speak it fluently, and picked up on most of it this time around. Get a book with key phrases and you should be set in any of the main cities.

We didnt find out until a few days later, Also alot of places in Florence were closing early because of the attacks So we had to rush through the museums.The scariest part was after we got back from a club one night around 4AM we heard a large bang sound and my friend swears it had to be an explosion. Not sure what it was myself.

Nope, I got a rental from Budget, It was supposed to be a Mercedes C220 for $465 for 8 days, But we got shafted when we arrived and got stuck with a damn Renault Megane Station Wagon
