Haha while I don't condone street racing, my buddy has a 2003 Cobra and we ran on the beltway through 4th gear (letting out at 105-110) coming home from a meet last weekend.

His car: IHE, 2.93 upper making 450 rwhp and 500 ft lbs (factory freak)

The run:

Him in 2nd gear, me in third gear. He pulled .5 cars from the jump, but by the end of 3rd I had put his front at my rear hehehe...I love boost! Street racing is gay though... </TD></TR></TABLE>

do a pull with a C5 Z06 with a cam and spray and then see how excited you get. youll be like HOLY **** no FWD 4cyl car should be able to do this lol. and on pump gas!

haha Yea I still want a run against a new Z06....my buddies seem to think I will get killed..I think they are wrong lol. I mean from a dig those cars are high 10's STOCK on slicks, but I should be able to cut a 11.2-11.3 with 550whp on slicks as well, if not faster haha.

And I am starting to realize I may never be able to track the car (HPDE style) because of overheating unless I figure something out like water wetter, bleed it better, or figure out a way to A. get more air to the radiator B. figure out a way to spray water on it, or C. spray nitrous on the radiator to cool it.

Either way, the inlet to my turbo is right behind the radiator so I can't really spray anything onto the radiator....sucks

told you it runs very hot! thats why my setup is no longer on the R.

BTW new Z06 on the highway, you will walk it. from a "dig" or at the strip on slicks, you have your work cut out for you.

Yea it runs hot, but I can drive it 500 miles without stopping as long as I turn the heat on every 30 mins or so. I know sometimes they run so hot you have to actually stop for 30 mins or so for it to cool down haha. I'll figure out something. Whether it be nitrous spray or water or more air somehow haha.

Yea I didn't plan on meeting one at the track without slicks haha, those things are no joke, but on the highway I wouldn't mind playing around one day, thats for sure.

I pretty much had to drive most of the way to expo last year with the heat on. wasnt fun. that was with those huge holes already in my bumper. but I was using straight coolant at the time which SUCKS compared to straight water/water wetter.
