Not really, I just didn't realize it was a 2:1 ratio. You'd think Honda would notice, but for some reason they don't seem to care.
OP, what's the fascination in wanting to know how many Rx's were made, it wasn't anything special.

Also, remember, DC2 is a chassis code and it applies to the 3-door GS-R as well as the Type R.
One of those cars sat in a dealer showroom and wasn't sold till 2002. It was still a 2001 model year car, but the sales show up as 2002.

That list includes only Type-R's for DC2 totals if you look at column 3. It lists some non-Type-R DC5's though.
DC2's in japan were of several other models too as nsxtacy stated. Our us ones were the itr and gsr only. IIRC the DC2 code stands for any 2-door with B18C.

The page I used awhile back to figure out the Type-Rx was released on December 16th 1999 doesn't display properly anymore, but it is still there. I have listed the link below, and another link using yahoo's translator. It basically shows there were 500 Civic Type-Rx's planned, and 400 ITRx's planned. I'll see if I can't figure out a way to display it properly. Or if anyone else can, please let me know. So my guess is 400 Integra Type-Rx's. They even list the prices and all the features. I wish I would have taken some screenshots of the original page back when I started researching the Rx before I did my little writeup. It's still there though. If anyone can get the text to work properly, please let me know what browser or tool you are using.

I dont' know what the deal is with it. It works on my home pc with IE8 on xp. My work computer with IE8 and xp doesn't display properly. The translated ones are fine on both, it's just the honda one I cant see correctly at work.

whats the facsination over the RX?...i dont see why everyone all of a sudden wants one?...all u get is blue trim, pedals ,tint, radio, keyless ,stero upgrades?.. and what most dont know is that some came with the srs airbags most jdm R's didnt come with airbags. and it was all optional. it was all add to what the person who was buying it wanted... i mean it'd all good info none the less
