Default High Idle problem

My r has recently started idling at 1500 rpm, even after warmed up, i'd adjust the idle but before I tried i noticed at a light if I gave it a minute it would drop back to 700 after about 10 seconds, is something sticking, and no the throttle cable isn't too tight.

my guess is that is related to the IAC. check your coolant level, then clean the screen on the iac.

Could it be computer related, I put in a hondata and it didn't run so I had to send it back to get reprogramed, then i stuck the old computer back in, I thought amybe it was relearning but its been 2 weeks!

after i put in the skunk computer, the idle began to bounce from about 800-1500rpms consistently. It has been almost 5 months, and it still is doing it. I guess it doesn't bother me anymore, i just got used to it...

seems to be a common problem when you modify Honda b-series engines, the idle is never the same as stock. I noticed that mods that lighten the rotating assembly make the car idle higher, such as crank pullies, lightened flys, etc.... . I think the IAC eventually is able to get the rpms down but it takes a few seconds after going to a stop. My car does exactly the same thing. My over-bored throttle body may be leading to that also.
