Your problem lies in the proxies...I had a set once, I had issues of spinning them coming out of corners, and all the car had was an AEM intake...I really didn't like them.

perhaps you spin your tire like crazy because of all the torque the R's come equipped with. on a serious i already told you the problem was because of your tires. damn NOOB

This isn't related to your traction problem, but you are aware that 205/55-15's are larger in diameter than the stock 195/55's, right? 205/50-15's are closer in diameter to the stock setup. Just something to consider if you are planning on purchasing new tires soon.

The combination of crappy tires and a lightweight flywheel is the problem. Ditch the Toyos and get some Azenis

Azenis please. If you are going to get any tire, please make it either the Toyo T1S
which is awesome for you Toyo haters and the other great tire is the BF Goodridge comp KD or KDW those wear a little worse than the toyo but they are a little stickier.

Also, do you have adjustable suspension? If you do you should lower the front a hair lower than the rear and tighten the rear struts, this will act like a wheelie bar in a sense keeping the weight of the car on the fron tires.

Your rear wing is too big and causing too much downforce.

try installing a smaller one - like this:

you can try to lower tire pressure - find out whats the safest pressure it for 205/55 tire... the lowest i run on the 205/50 is 31-33psi (cold)..

get a set of bf goodrich drag radials and it will handle at least 180whp with no wheel spin through first gear.

Id much rather have Falken Azenis then the soggy-sidewall T1-S. Not to mention Azenis are so cheap its rediculous!!
