dun worry, the lug bolts are easy to replace, it shouldn't be more than $50-$100 ($100 being if your dealer likes to ream you).

Since you have 5 lugs with the R you should be okay driving it around. That being said, drive very carefully and go easy. I would drive it to the dealer first thing just to be on the safe side (ofcourse I baby my car).

What? With that money I can replace almost all my studs!
Man, go to the parts dept. and buy one stud and nut for your R and do it yourself. It's very easy!
Just need a jack, a wrench, and a hammer. Bah!

actually you have to pull the hub so you needa 32mm socket too. If any of the others look worn out replace them at the same time they should only charge you for the lugs. I would say $30 and $50 is pushin it, it won't take them an hour.

You should propably look at/ think about, why it happened to prevent it from happening again. Studs usually don't "just"get weak and snap & lug nuds don't usually seize. Did you cross-thread it? Did you use a torque wrench to install it properly? Last but not least Anti-seize is your friend.

I just beat the stud past the brake shield and then beat the new one back in....hed to rethread it though...probibly not the easyest way to do it..

Honda studs are weak. They're so cake to replace though. I think I'm a pro at it. IT should take you no more than 10 minutes tops. All you have to do is take of the caliper, rotate the rotor/hub til the broken stud lines up with a hole in the brake shield, and just whack that **** out. After that just install the new stud in the hub/rotor and put a lugnut on it and tighten it so that pulls the stud into the rotor/hub assembly. I bought the stud and lugnut from a Honda dealership for no more than $2 total for the two. Good luck. It's nothing to sweat about. You don't need to remove the hub.

THis is common if your wheels need a conical lug nut and you use stock acordn style nuts.

Anti seize the ish out of your studs next time. One stud shouldn't cost that much to replace.

invest in a torque wrench...i wouldn't be too happy If i get out of my car and there's lug nuts missing...and that's just for normal daily driving? imagine that happening in an autox or something

I F'd up once ..... I torqued my lug nuts the day before an AutoX and never checked them during. I drove home 60 miles away crusing at 85ish.
I then drive to get some dinner and on my way back home, I hear a clicking/rubbing noise. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out where the sound was coming from. I had my father-in-law drive the car while I was outside looking for the source.
My wife then points out that i'm missing a few lug nuts. I checked and to my surprise, two lugs were missing, one was on its last thread, another was loose. Only one lug was in tight!

it could have been disaterous!
