Default help! Electrical Problem

After getting the car back on the road yesterday the front foglights and dial illumination and headlight buzzer have stopped working?

Is this a fuse?

And if so, which one as my fuse diagram is still a japanese one.

please help before it gets dark!

If anyone has a english fuse diagram could they scan it in? Or at least tell me the postion the fuse is in.

If it comes to it i'll go through them one by one

Below on the left is a diagram of the fuses located in the drivers side kick panel, the descriptions of each fuse is written in Japanese so here's a translation. I should also say that I can't read Japanese so for all I know it says "If one of these fuses blows, you're screwed" but I'm sure the translation is more or less correct. On the right is a diagram of the under hood fuse box, located on the driver side of the engine bay. The two 50 amp fuses are for the main front and rear lights.

1) 5AMP: Remote pole, Air refiner
2) 20AMP: Right front power window
3) 10AMP: Right headlight low beam
4) 10AMP: Left head light low beam
5) 15AMP: Power door lock
6) 20AMP: Left rear power window
7) 20AMP: Left front power window
8) 20AMP: Right rear power window
9) 10AMP: Right headlight high beam
10) 10AMP: Left headlight high beam
11) 15AMP:Tail light, Meter light, License plate light
12) 15AMP:Cooling fan
13) 10AMP:Remote Control Pole, Rear fog light, Auto Antenna
14) 15AMP:Clock, Interior light, Cigarette lighter
15) 20AMP:Sunroof
16) 20AMP:Wiper/ Washer (Power window/ Sunroof)
17) 7.5AMP:Rear demist
18) 7.5AMP:Starter signal
19) 15AMP:Front fog light
20) 15AMP:Condenser fan
21) 15AMP:Cooling fan
22) 10AMP:Radio
23) 10AMP:Backing light, turn signal
24) 15AMP:Altenator

A) 7.5AMP: SPARE
B) 15AMP: SPARE
C) 10AMP: SPARE
D) 20AMP: SPARE

X) 40AMP: Heater motor
Y) Fuse puller
Z) "Do not replace fuse with tin foil or wire or a fuse higher than the specified value. Failure to heed may result in faulty electrics or a fire"

Thanks for the reply Chris.

I've checked today and all the fuses are good.

Another problem has occured though!

There gauge cluster does not work!!

I have the turn signal lights but thats about it!

So, a list of everthing that won't work:

Front Fog lights
Dial illumination
Headlight Warning buzzer
Rev/Speedometer
Temp/Fuel gauge

Does this sound like it could be a bad earth?

If so, does anyone know where the common earth for these parts are?

First to help me out gets 17 thumbs up.

John

It could be-we in the states call an "earth" a "ground".

It sounds like something major was done to the car. You might want to recheck all of your work. Did you forget to plug in a connector or bolt on an "earth" ?

i know this is probably not the problem with your car..
but my running lights wouldn't work because a couple of wires on the running light in the corner lamp were somewhat exposed and the pos/neg were touching each other and shorting out the relay fuse.

did you check all your fuses in your engine bay and underneath the driver's side dash?
