does anyone know of a place to get header wrap or just heat wrap in any case? ever since lowering my car with the eibach springs, the piping from the muffler has been hitting my lower control arm. i don't know what to do except to wrap it with this stuff. here are some pics.

Hey if it's in a difficult access area, they also make shrouds that you can slip over piping/pieces more easily than tape.

 

hey BPR, thanks. do you know what kind of material they use for the shrouds?

 

It's the same stuff the tape is made from - that white woven synthetic material that looks like asbestos. It basically is unmeltable - probably made from ceramic fiber.

 

i was wondering what is the purpose of he header wrap? to keep all the heat in?
