It looks good because the wheels are expensive JDM pieces, and because everyone knows and loves this car.
It's amazing to me how everyone is sweating this car and its green wheels, but bagged on a new member when he posted pics of his functional, kinda dirty Top Fuel ITR.
In the past month I have seen red, pink, and green wheels. When I first joined this forum, anyone posting stuff like that would have gotten a lukewarm response at best. Kudos to you for being original, I guess, but gawd that looks weird.

I know which Top Fuel ITR you were talking about, and personally I really liked that car.

i woulda chose a diff bright color like a blue but not bad at all, deffinetly DIFFERENT not a big fan of the bodywork you did to the car, i really like stock looking R's.
nice job on the rims.

pretty much sums it up . imo this car is really hot, the wheels are probably in my top 3 all time favorites for import wheels, but the green has transformed this car into the "ugly as sin" category for me.
i've come to the conclusion that much of the itr forum is pure bandwagon bullshit, and it is almost as if the first few posts will dictate how the thread will go.
