Going Back To OEM Radio
So, i decided to go back to my OEM radio. No longer want the aftermarket stuff. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good AUX adapter thats a direct plugin-and-play. I called my local audio shop and they referred me to pac audio and i found this.

-I purchased the one for the Integras 94-01 and had it shipped home so my brother can install it on the car (im in Virginia). He said it works great just like a regular aftermarket radio. I'm pretty excited to go home and see it next month.
Don't they have a kit that would connect to the cd changer/ tape deck connector to rca out?
Im still using my 2nd din cassette deck instead...
Maybe something like this?

I was considering a fancy touch screen with dvd and Bluetooth and all that bullshit but the thing I like about the R is the simplicity of it all, I'm indecisive on taking my stock unit out..
The stock unit is super crapy compared to even a basic aftermarket unit. It's the exact same thing that came in a 1994 RS/LS, just with a different color. The stock unit is very low power and muffles the audio pretty bad. You'll see when you finally do decide to throw a nice aftermarket unit in there. And almost all the aftermarket units now have an amber color option.

I installed a Kenwood headunit and speakers. Night and day difference, I can now listen to music clearly while driving on the freeway. Obviously I saved all the original stuff if I ever decide to put the stock stuff back in.

Most aftermarket headunits dont match the rest of the interior is the main issue. Though I've seen a few nice black headunits that dont look out of place with the interior pricey most of the time.

Too bad it doesn't anchor down in the back like the OEM unit, which is rather important in an ITR if you ask me.
There are other OEM options that match the interior (as good) that should work better and sound better than the stock one.
The OEM radio sounds good with a CD in, but it is lacking power and the FM tuner is kinda crappy. No idea why Honda didn't feel the need to give the car a better radio, especially since they went to the bother of putting one in--given that the NVH on the ITR, bone stock, was louder than 99% of the cars on the street at that time (matter fact, it may have been *the* loudest @ 65mph IIRC).

The best option you have for OEM, amber and decent power would be an Ap2 S2000 radio. The Ap2 got a boost in power and is a direct fit with the same amber display.
I was planning on changing my S2K's radio soon. Now I can reuse the stock unit in the R
