Fuel Tank Q....
Anyone know for sure if there are baffels in the ITR fuel tank? I forgot who, but someone told me this last wEEk. I don't think so, but the part numbers are diff for ITR and nonITR gas tanks.

Hmm...
I remember reading about people having to pound some baffles or something out of the way when installing the Endyn/Bosch fuel pumps!
I'd guess this would justify/rationalize the diff. part #'s, but don't know for sure either.

It would make sense for Honda engineers to put baffles in the fuel tank. Eliminates the sloshing of fuel during high speed turns.

I coulda swore there weren't baffles in the ITR tank (or fewer, at least) as part of its "diet".
EDIT: I stand corrected, see below.

Re: Fuel Tank Q.... (Austin)
So, I guess then if you have an ITR, that you'd prolly like an LS or GSR fuel tank... Or, if you're that hard core, just put a fuel cell in... Most interesting...

Yeah I have my back seats totally removed. Had a 1/8 tank of gas the other day and when I braked to a stop hard I could hear it quite clearly sloshin around. Actually freaked me until I read this.
