Alright, so I've been daily driving my Prelude for a while now. I'm starting to realize the fun I am missing with the Type R, and how peppy the car is. I really use the features I chose the Prelude for, like AC and CC. I'm pretty certain I will be driving the R when it is finished.

Speaking of which, nothing has happened since last update regarding it. It's been on hold because we've been extremely busy with racing and various other activities - including work. Since I feel bad that nothing has been shown in a long while, here's a picture of my racecar (with the lude behind it).

Very nice, I read this thread back when you started it. Glad to see an update. I think you will keep the R. I would haha.

I'm sorry - rarely use*. I rarely use the options I chose the Prelude for.

wow! This is awesome!

Being 16 and going through an ITR restoration is something that rarely ever happens!

Great work!

So I feel bad about sorta leaving this thread in the dust. I kept it somewhat updated over on another website, so I figure I should fill you guys in on things. Sorry for multiple posts, this is how I updated the other site, and it helps with chronological order.

Gonna be making a push to try and get this car done! Just a small update for now, some new pictures.

To do list:
Minor straightening to complete the rear
Minor body work
Sanding/paint
Interior reassembly

The light at the end of the tunnel is near!

First few modifications planned:
Stock ITR 16" rims (Or a nice aftermarket set, I like Regamasters.)
Coilovers (Still shopping around)
Performance tires

Update time!

Spent nearly 5 hours today working on the left rear, didn't expect it to give that much trouble. It was too low for the trunk lid, so we had to work the body and lift that corner up.

Here's some photos from today's progress.

Just using those taillights for fitment reasons, I have a set of 98-01 off to the side.

New wheels came in. Not actual ITR rims. Any real ones I could find were either ridiculously expensive, or in terrible condition. I went with Rota R Spec because it's pretty much identical and in brand-new condition. To anyone that says I'm terrible for putting replicas on an R, go buy me some mint new ones instead of complaining.

Big update time!

The caR got repainted Championship White on Saturday morning. It's looking fresh. I've only noticed one minor flaw on the entire car, which will be taken car of once the paint hardens a bit and I can work with it.

Coilovers are ordered, Progress CSII. Gonna be mounting wheels/tires soon. I have a brand new set of 205-45-16 Hankook's, as well as neo chrome extended open-ended lugnuts.

Sorry for crappy angle photos, it was pouring rain all day and I didn't want to roll it outside for photos.

Almost all done. My coilovers arrived and still have a few parts of the interior to put together.
