Wonder why the original owner didn't buy the R back form the insurance? There were still a ton of parts on there he could have sold, or he could have done what you are doing.

In related news - There is another Type R on the auction, however we will not be bidding on it.

Other owner did not buy it back because inBC it is illegal to attempt to buy back your own car after icbc has payed you out for it. You sign a document saying you will not bid or have someone bid for you.

That py has a gsr motor and 220km on the chassis. Where is it going up for auction? He has been trying to sell that for like $7k for a while

Wow, good to know. Thanks.
Even still, the car won't go for more than 2,500 on auction. The winner could resell it for 5,000 (hell of a deal) and make a pretty hefty profit.

Edit: Yep. 217957KM

7k? That's not going to happen unless it's my old car. What's the badge number?

Like seeing these threads. I really know whats its like to have an ITR with a squished up rear end like that, worst feeling ever. Glad to see it's comming along.

Wow, that's a helluva good deal. Wish auctions in California had ITRs that sold for that cheap.

It's so nice to see younger people that appreciate a beautiful car. Good luck with it!

...as for updates on the CW ITR, it's sort of on hold for a bit. We need to finish building the GSR as a race car and do quite a bit of body work on the prelude. All that needs to be done before May.. Maybe I can get a few small updates here and there, but nothing major will be coming anytime soon.
