Guys, make sure you read the rules for the event, especially the part in red.

Any jackassery, at all, will result in immediate expulsion from the event. If you can even remotely define something as jackassery, then it is. Fires, fireworks, burnouts, bike jumping over trash cans, air bag explosions, explosives in general, etc.

this is gonna be my first expo so i just had a couple of questions for u OG

1. do u guys camp out at the track or do u stay at the hotels? or which hotel?

2. how long do u get to race on the track?? as much as u want or u can only race a certain amount of time a day??

3. has anyone ever had problems with someone messing with their caR?

i can help with your questions since ive been to expo 6, 7, 8 ive never been on the track tho other then riding with people. in the past some have camped some have stay at lodges at the race track and others have stayed in hotels. I plan on a hotel this year the gf was not happy with 105 degree heat and a tent last year . you are on the track with the same group all the event you will have sessions i am not sure how long they will last this year. i do no they go by experience and you car will be as safe as it gets when you are around thease guys and for your last question follow this link cause i asked the same http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/Track/trackpreparation.htm

1. We do both camping and hotels. We are working on identifying the hotel(s) that we will work with for lodging. Jay should have something pretty soon.
2. Typically the sessions are around 20 - 25 minutes long, and drivers will be on track for a total of 3-4 hours typically. Each driver will be assigned to a specific run group, and you always run with that run group at the scheduled time - schedules will be provided before the event.
3. I don't know of anyone having problems with people messing with their cars, and that goes all the way back to Expo 1. Except Jack's car... anyone have any pictures?
4. The link that was posted above may be helpful. You may just need some very basic tools, but if you don't happen to have the right one, there are usually plenty of helpful hands. You will want a tire pressure gauge though for certain.

The chances of extreme heat in May in Chicago are a lot less than in Virginia (just over the NC border) in June. Average highs are 70F, lows 48F. Chicago averages only one day with a reading of 90F or higher in the entire month of May. That doesn't mean it can't happen, but it's pretty darn unlikely. (OTOH, rain is a possibility.) (Ref for weather stats)

Either you didn't bother reading the first post in this topic, or you don't retain what you read! Autobahn Country Club is in Joliet, Illinois, about 50 miles southwest of Chicago and just southwest of Chicagoland Speedway. If you want to take a look, Mapquest the address in that first post for an aerial view. The GPS coordinates are 41.46 N, 88.13 W. Oh, and if you're interested in checking out the now-closed Joliet State Prison where the first season of "Prison Break" was shot, the GPS for that are 41.55 N, 88.07 W (look for the red roofed buildings). Google Earth 0wnz j00!
