Default ECU problems?

ok, I have an Apexi Power FC on my '00 ITR. Now, I used a Kenji harness to convert to OBD2b to OBD2a. I put in my Power FC and the stock tach stopped working. I emailed Kenji, he said to check continuity between OBD2b side pins B13 and A19 (looped together) to OBD2a side pin A20. Everything checked out fine. I plugged in my stock USDM P73 and the stock tach worked. I then tried switching the harness on my friends car with a Power FC and the harness checked out fine on his (stock tach worked). I then tried my friends OBD2a P72 using the harness and my stock tach worked...sooooooooo....is my Power FC bad? Is there any signal problem? Any ideas? I'm pretty sure that since the distributor signal (B13) and ICM signal (A19) are spliced and run to ICM (A20), they are the same signal, and thus, it shouldn't affect the stock tach. The Power FC has a good tach signal, so I'm lost? TIA.

-Andrew

EDIT: BTW, I'm running a JDM B18C.

OK, with the help of Boomslang and Kenji, I fixed my problem. I had a 10 wire dist. and a 9 wire plug? lol, anyway, I just spliced the blue wire coming off the dist. (which wasnt mated to anything on the harness) into the ICM wire and it works now. Thanks.
